Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

About this course

This performance-based certification course is designed for system administrators, DevOps engineers, and cloud architects seeking to master the deployment, management, and troubleshooting of Kubernetes clusters in production environments. The curriculum covers the complete Kubernetes architecture, including control plane components (API server, etcd, scheduler, controller manager) and worker node operations (kubelet, kube-proxy, container runtime) essential for cluster administration. Participants will gain hands-on expertise in cluster installation, configuration, and lifecycle management using tools such as kubeadm, kubectl, and Helm for package management and application deployment. The training emphasizes workload scheduling, pod lifecycle management, service networking, and ingress controllers to expose applications securely to internal and external users. Learners will develop proficiency in storage configuration using PersistentVolumes (PV), PersistentVolumeClaims (PVC), StorageClasses, and CSI drivers to manage stateful applications effectively. The program also covers cluster security implementation, including RBAC authorization, network policies, pod security standards, certificate management, and API server security hardening. By the end of this program, participants will be prepared to pass the CKA certification exam and confidently manage Kubernetes clusters in real-world production environments.
